M.U. Lujan Elementary School wins AK’s Back-To-School Test Drive Campaign

Atkins Kroll presented the faculty and staff of M.U. Lujan Elementary School in Yona with a $1,914 Community Matters Donation on September 9, 2026. The school successfully rallied their supporters to complete 22 test drives during the Community Matters driving campaign.

Atkins Kroll Guam has announced M.U. Lujan Elementary School as the winner of its second annual Community Matters: Back-to-School Test Drive Campaign, continuing a growing initiative designed to bring the Guam community together while giving back to local schools.

Held throughout the month of August at the AK Toyota showroom in Guam, the campaign invited community members to test drive any Toyota vehicle and cast a vote for the local school they wanted to support. Each completed test drive counted as one vote, turning every visit to the dealership into an opportunity to make a difference in the community.

Nearly 100 test drives were completed during the 28-day campaign, generating strong participation from families, supporters and members of the community.

In a closely contested race, M.U. Lujan Elementary School, home of the Dragons, earned 22 votes through 22 completed test drives, securing a $1,914 donation from Atkins Kroll. The donation amount pays tribute to 1914, the year Atkins Kroll was founded.

Agueda I. Johnston Middle School finished just two votes behind, while John F. Kennedy High School received 11 votes. Representatives from Atkins Kroll visited M.U. Lujan Elementary School on September 9 to present the donation, which will support educational programs and initiatives benefiting the school’s students and faculty.
